Southampton beat Sparta Prague 3-0 at St Mary’s in their opening Europa league group stage clash.
The opening goal was however, shrouded in controversy as Dusan Tadic and Charlie Austin squabbled over who would take the penalty.
Austin defended his decision to take the penalty and revealed that a striker should be taking penalties.

Austin ended up taking the spot kick and scoring a brace on the night while Rodriguez scored the third and final goal to wrap up a memorable evening.
