It’s that time of year again. The early October international week is almost as bad as the early September break when it comes to disrupting the season just as its getting enjoyable. But rest assured, it’s not just you who is praying for the return of club football.
The Champions League official account just posted this photo of Angel di Maria in Argentina training, playing as a goalkeeper. This has nothing to do with the Champions League or… anything in fact. They’re just bored enough to find the prospect of an outfielder in goal amusing. That’s how desperate things are.
