Manchester United players are clearly looking for something else to think about today in the wake of their thrashing at the hands of Chelsea. The shred of good news they’ve clung onto today is the fact that it’s Wayne Rooney’s birthday. The striker, who did not feature in United’s matchday squad yesterday, has been hailed in a vast wave of Instagram tributes from teammates, which you can see below.
