The battle to sign Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon is slowly heating up, with the Premier League’s biggest clubs ready to bring the chase to the boil over the next few transfer windows.
The Sun today reports that Arsenal, Liverpool and both Manchester clubs are chasing the 16 year old, who has broken into the Fulham side this term and has blown away the competition to be the brightest English star in the lower divisions.
Fulham will want to keep hold of the left back as long as possible, and the Sun also claim that they will try and tie him down to a new deal in order to maximise their profit on him if their hand is eventually forced.
At such a young age it wouldn’t be unheard of for Sessegnon to commit to a new deal at the Cottage, knowing he can continue his development there with his options of when and where to move to the Premier League remaining open. That would seem the best option for his development, as well as for Fulham’s impressive season.
