Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin heaped praise on Mesut Ozil after today’s 2-0 win over Tottenham, in what also sounded like a thinly-veiled warning to the club’s fans.
Ozil is nearing the end of his contract with Arsenal, with the Daily Mirror suggesting he could be on his way to rivals Manchester United in what would be a hammer-blow for the Gunners.
While Ozil has had his critics during his time at Arsenal, performances like today show what he can do when he’s at his best, and Bellerin said he and the rest of the Arsenal squad love playing with him.

The Spaniard took the chance to hit back at those who have given the German a hard time, saying it’s better to have him than not.
‘Mesut is someone who gets a lot of criticism, but the players who are around him are very happy to have him and play with him,’ Bellerin told Arsenal.com.
‘He makes things easy for you. People sometimes talk about his body language, but he gives everything for this shirt.
‘The players who play around him know that he makes everything so much easier.’
