Man United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be set to sign an extension with the Red Devils after the new year.
This is according to the Sun, who state that the 36-year-old has talks about a new deal pencilled in with boss Jose Mourinho.
Should United end up agreeing a new deal with Zlatan to keep the player at the club beyond next summer, it’ll come as a big boost for United fans, who surely love to see the forward continue his career at Old Trafford.
Since joining the Premier League side in the summer of 2016, Ibrahimovic has been a massive hit at Old Trafford.
In 50 games for the Red Devils, the Swede has managed to amass a total of 28 goals and 10 assists, a very impressive record for someone of his age.
During his short time with the club, he 36-year-old has managed to add to his already vastly impressive collection silverware.
Since arriving, Ibrahimovic has helped his side win one Community Shield, one Europa League and one League cup, a decent haul.
