Barcelona are reportedly considering a January transfer window swoop for Chelsea winger and rumoured Manchester United target Willian as an alternative to Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho.
The Brazil international has not always been a regular at Stamford Bridge this season, but has shone in recent games and is always a reliable squad member in terms of putting a shift in.
Barca are still keen to strengthen in attacking midfield this winter as they continue to look into signing Coutinho, but could be prepared to try a move for Willian if that fails, according to Goal.
This could spell bad news for Manchester United’s transfer plans, with the Manchester Evening News recently reporting that Jose Mourinho had made an enquiry to Chelsea about signing Willian as well.

Jose Mourinho signed Willian when he was Chelsea manager, and could do with more options out wide this season despite the fine form of forwards like Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford in those roles.
Willian is a more natural winger and would provide both quality and experience to this Red Devils side, though Chelsea will surely want to avoid selling to a rival.
The Blues did let Nemanja Matic join United in the summer but must already regret it after his fine start to life at Old Trafford.
