Man City left it late to beat West Ham at the Etihad today, as the Premier League leaders beat the Hammers 2-1 thanks to goals from Nicolas Otamendi and David Silva.
West Ham’s Angelo Ogbonna opened the scoring in the 44th minute with a header, after Aaron Cresswell swung a cross into the Man City box.
City then equalised through Otamendi after Brazilian Gabriel Jesus hammered the ball across the face of goal.
The home side then secured all three points, after a ball from Kevin De Bruyne was finished by David Silva as City extended their more than impressive win.
Kevin De Bruyne was excellent today, with the former Chelsea ace running the show as City reclaimed their eight point lead at the top of the tab;e.
Following the result, Man City have now won their last 13 games in the league, meaning that they are just one win away from securing the record of most consecutive wins in a single Premier League season.
