Barcelona superstar Luis Suarez has given his say on the rumours surrounding Real Madrid and Neymar, saying that he doesn’t see the Brazilian moving to the Spanish capital due to the respect he has for Barcelona.
This is according to Marca, who state that Suarez, when asked about the rumours of Real Madrid’s interest in Neymar, which have been reported by Marca in the past, said that “Not at all. Honestly, I don’t see it.
The Uruguayan then went on to add “I know what Neymar is like and the admiration he had for Barcelona and his teammates. I don’t see him now going to play for Real Madrid.”
Since securing his world-record move to PSG from Spanish giants Barcelona in the summer, Neymar has been on red-hot form for the French side.
His ability to form a partnership with duo Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani has seen the Ligue 1 giants become one of the most feared sides in Europe.
In 17 games for Unai Emery’s side so far, the former Barca ace has managed to clock up an astonishing 15 goals and 11 assists.
For Barcelona, Neymar’s record couldn’t have been much better. During his four years with Ernesto Valverde’s side, the winger managed to amass a total of 105 goals and 80 assists in 186 games, with the player effectively directly contributing to a goal a game for the Catalan giants.
The player also helped Barca win a good amount of silverware, as since his arrival, the La Liga side claimed a total of nine trophies, which includes the historic treble Barca managed to secure in the 2014/15 season.

Should Suarez be true on this occasion, it’ll be a blow for Madrid, who will most likely have to look elsewhere for their Cristiano Ronaldo replacement.
