Manchester City are reportedly interested in sealing the transfer of Real Madrid attacking midfielder Isco as he becomes unsettled at the Bernabeu.
The Spain international was benched for Zinedine Zidane’s side against Barcelona in El Clascio at the weekend and Don Balon claim he won’t put up with the situation beyond the end of this season.
The report adds that if he were to leave he would likely have offers from City and PSG worth around £133million.
Isco has long been one of Europe’s top creative midfield players, and looks an ideal fit for how Pep Guardiola likes his City side to play.
Still, Real will surely not let such a top performer go so easily, even if he hasn’t been at his influential best so far this season.
Isco played a key role in Los Blancos winning La Liga and the Champions League last season, seeing off competition from Gareth Bale to become more of a regular in Real’s attack.
City don’t exactly need another player like him, but it’s easy to see how he could be sought as a long-term successor to David Silva or perhaps to Yaya Toure in a slightly deeper midfield role.
