Florentino Perez eyes Manchester United star in £436m transfer spree for four signings to rebuild Real Madrid

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is reportedly prepared to invest as much as £436million on four new players to rebuild the squad for next season.

According to Don Balon, the Spanish giants have five big names on their radar, four of which could be targeted to improve Real’s fortunes after a nightmarish campaign in 2017/18.

While this may be hugely ambitious, Real have a history of bringing in the players they want, and few can compete with the club’s history of success and prestige.

Perez himself is the man responsible for two ‘Galactico’ eras in the Spanish capital, and these are the names being lined up for the next one…

David de Gea (Manchester United)

First up, Don Balon claim Real want to raid Manchester United for the transfer of David de Gea as their new goalkeeper.

The Spain international is one of the best in the world in his position and would be a necessary upgrade on Keylor Navas for that number one role.

Not since Iker Casillas’ departure have Los Blancos truly had a world class star in that area of the pitch, and De Gea’s form in the Premier League shows he could be the ideal candidate for the job.

Neymar has been linked as a transfer target for Real Madrid

Neymar (Paris Saint-Germain)

Don Balon also claim Perez is confident Neymar can be signed from PSG for around the same price they paid for him just summer.

The Brazil international has shone since moving to the Parc des Princes, but a move to the Bernabeu would undoubtedly be tempting for anyone.

Neymar shone in his spell in La Liga with Barcelona, and could now move to Madrid without the same level of controversy as would’ve been caused if he’d made the direct switch between the two rivals.

Tottenham star Dele Alli is being linked with a transfer to Real Madrid

Dele Alli (Tottenham)

In another big-name raid on the Premier League, Don Balon also list Tottenham starlet Dele Alli as being on Real’s radar.

The England international is one of the finest young players in Europe right now and could be ready for the step up to an established European super club.

This would, however, be a huge loss for Spurs, who have seen star names like Gareth Bale and Luka Modric leave north London for Madrid in the past.

Harry Kane (Tottenham) or Mauro Icardi (Inter Milan)

Finally, Real also want a centre-forward and could look to either one of Tottenham’s Harry Kane or Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi.

Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi is among Real Madrid’s targets up front

Both have been among the most prolific players in their respective leagues this season and would represent big upgrades on the struggling Karim Benzema.

Still, all of this is incredibly ambitious for Perez, who would likely have to part with £436m to get all this done, though Don Balon claim he’s prepared to do so.
