Lionel Messi gives green light for Barcelona to seal transfer away for €30M Blaugrana ace

Lionel Messi has given Barcelona the go-ahead to seal a move away from the Camp Nou for Spaniard Paco Alcacer, with Everton keen on taking the player off the club’s hands.

This is according to Don Balon, who are stating that the club will not be letting the former Valencia star leave for Goodison Park unless an offer of €30M is made.

The news outlet are also stating that player himself is keen to continue his career with the Catalan giants, and that despite this, Alcacer is still of the understanding that he must leave Barca if he is to continue the development of his career and obtain first team football once again.

Barcelona are after €30M if they are to let Alcacer leave for Everton

Despite spending a good two seasons at the club so far, Alcacer was still struggling to make a name for himself at the Camp Nou towards the end of the campaign just gone.

The Spanish international has only made a handful of starts for Ernesto Valverde’s side since his arrival two years ago, with his lack of good displays when selected for the club being one of the main reasons behind this.

Despite mainly only playing a side-role for the Blaugrana since his arrival, the player has still managed to clock up 15 goals and eight assists in 50 appearances, a record that should fill Everton fans with hope about the player’s ability should the Toffees end up signing him.

If Barcelona are to get rid of Alcacer this summer, it surely means that the club are preparing for a new forward arrival from elsewhere in the transfer window. Watch this space.
