Barcelona are unwilling to fork out the €100M that Man United have asked for for the sale of Paul Pogba, with Lionel Messi eager to see the club secure a move for the player.

This is according to Don Balon, who report that Messi has suggested Pogba to the Blaugrana hierarchy, and that the Argentine believes that the player would be a great fit at the Camp Nou.

It’s also being stated by the same news outlet that Mourinho’s side have an asking price of €100M for Pogba, and that despite not wanting to pay that much, the Spanish giants are still keen on the Frenchman.

Barcelona aren’t willing to pay as much as €100M to bring Pogba in this summer

With Andres Iniesta leaving the club this summer, Barcelona are certainly going to have to dip into the transfer market to fill the void that is to be left by the Spaniard, and Pogba could easily contribute towards that.

Despite not bagging many goals or assists for Jose Mourinho’s side since his move from Juventus in the summer of 2016, the French international’s impact on United’s game should not be looked down upon at all.

The Red Devils look like a completely different player when he’s in the team, something that should definitely be looked at Barcelona if they truly are still interested in him.

If the Blaugrana are serious about replacing Iniesta, it’ll definitely be worth paying the money for a player who is one of the best in the world in his position in Pogba.
