Jose Mourinho is willing to include Man United and France star Anthony Martial in a deal to make sure he brings Toni Kroos to Old Trafford this summer.
This is as per Don Balon, who are stating that Real Madrid are in need of a forward following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, and that Mourinho is willing to lose Martial if it means he brings in Kroos.
The news outlet are also stating that Man City are also keen on signing Kroos this summer, so if United were to bring in Kroos by including Martial, it could kill two birds with one stone, as the Red Devils would sign a world class midfielder and beat their fierce rivals to the signing of a superstar.
The Daily Star have recently stated that Martial is rated at £70M, a price that some would say is overpriced given how he’s performed in a United shirt since his arrival in 2015.
The Frenchman was somewhat of a bit-part player for United this season just gone, with the Frenchman often being made to start from the subs bench for Mourinho’s side.
In total, the winger has only managed to bag a total of 36 goals and 26 assists in 136 games, a somewhat poor record considering just how good the player can actually be.
With Michael Carrick now gone, United are going to be in need of a player who is able to control the pace of a game, something Kroos has proven to have in his locker time and time again.
