Jose Mourinho is eager to bring Portugal and PSG star Goncalo Guedes to Man United this summer, with the player available to be bought for around £70M (€80M).

This is according to Don Balon, who are stating that the PSG star has been labelled as the ‘New Cristiano Ronaldo’, and that PSG are looking to bring in around £70M for the winger.

The news outlet are also noting that Mourinho thinks Guedes had a load of potential, and that the player could follow Ronaldo’s footsteps by moving to Old Trafford.

Mourinho wants Guedes to him at Old Trafford next season

Despite not being able to cement a first team place with PSG, Guedes will still able to impress during his time with Valencia last season.

The Portuguese international scored five and assisted 11 in 33 La Liga appearances last campaign, as he helped Los Che secure a fourth-placed finish and the Champions League football that comes with it.

The 21-year-old also played a fairly big part for Portugal during the World Cup in Russia this summer, with the player contributing one assist in four appearances as his side were knocked out by Uruguay in the round of 16.

If Man United do listen to Mourinho and move for Guedes, it’ll be interesting to see if they are willing to fork out the £70M that PSG are reportedly after.
