Real Madrid will have to overcome a difficult end to the season if they are to topple Barcelona and Atletico Madrid and win La Liga for the second time in three seasons this year.

Los Blancos, who take on Barcelona in La Liga on the 28th October and 3rd March, will surely be wanting to beat their fierce rivals to yet another league title this season.

And to do this, they must overcome a troublesome end to their campaign, which including games against talented sides such as Real Betis and Villarreal.

Providing them and Barca are close to each other in the league coming into the final games, it looks likely to be Los Blancos who will have the harder run-in out of the two sides.

Julen Lopetegui’s side’s last four games of the season will see them travel to local rivals Rayo Vallecano, as well as take on Villarreal, Real Betis and Real Sociedad.

Two of those sides proved to be thorns in Real’s side last season, as they suffered defeats to both Villarreal and Real Betis, with both loses coming at home.

The fixtures have been somewhat kind to Real this year, as they don’t seem to have many difficult games stacked up consecutively throughout the entire season.

However if they are to claim their league title back, this tricky end to the season will have to be one that they may have to overcome if they are to be crowned kings of Spain once again.
