Arturo Vidal will be unveiled as a Barcelona player on Monday, but he has already landed in the city and posed in club attire.

The 31-year-old is set to complete a move to Spain worth €25m, as per ESPN, as he calls time on his spell with Bayern Munich to open a new chapter in his career at the Nou Camp.

After losing Paulinho earlier this summer, Vidal is arguably an ideal replacement to add solidity, tenacity and energy to the Barcelona midfield, while he boasts a wealth of experience at the top level too.

In turn, Ernesto Valverde will hope that he can make an immediate impact for the Catalan giants, not only helping them sustain their domestic dominance after doing the double last season, but also to make a bigger impression in Europe.

As seen in the photos below, Vidal has now been paraded on social media in a Barcelona fashion top, as he becomes the club’s fourth major signing this summer following the arrivals of Clement Lenglet, Arthur and Malcom.

While that trio arguably all represent the future given that they’re all in their early 20s, Vidal will look to add experience and have a real influence in midfield to help others continue to develop and offer real balance to the Barcelona line-up alongside more creative individuals.
