Juventus have reportedly placed a valuation in excess of €100m on midfield ace Miralem Pjanic, underlining his importance to the side.
The 28-year-old joined the Turin giants in 2016 from Roma, and has gone on to make 91 appearances while playing a key role in lifting two Serie A titles and two Coppa Italia trophies in his two years with the club.

Coupled with his technical quality, creative ability and class in dictating the tempo of a game, it’s no surprise that he’s considered a fundamental part of coach Massimiliano Allegri’s plans.
In turn, Calciomercato claim that the Bosnian international has been valued at over €100m by the Italian champions, and that provided he doesn’t secure a move elsewhere before the transfer deadline around Europe, he could sign a contract renewal to commit his future.
As per The Mirror, Pjanic has been linked with being part of a player exchange plus cash offer from Juve to take Paul Pogba back to Italy, although if he’s valued at €100m+, it would be interesting to know how much cash it would also take to prise the World Cup winner away from Man Utd.
With the window now closed in England though, selling Pogba will surely be the last thing that the Red Devils are thinking about given that they won’t be able to replace him until next year.
Meanwhile, as reported by The Sun, Real Madrid have also been paired with a move for Pjanic to fill the void left behind by Mateo Kovacic after his loan move to Chelsea.
With the transfer window in Spain open until the end of the month, there is still a possibility that the midfield maestro moves on before the summer is over.
Nevertheless, as noted above, given his ongoing importance to Juventus, it’s difficult to see an exit materialising, unless the Bianconeri have an opportunity in the market to replace him and have identified a potential star recruit with Sergej Milinkovic-Savic specifically mentioned in the Calciomercato report.
