Diario Gol have stated last month that Barca superstar Lionel Messi wants to see the club make a move for the 23-year-old this summer, something that will surely be good news for Barca fans, as if Messi wants him, then he’s certainly some player!

Juventus have joined Barcelona in the race to land Rabiot from PSG this summer

Barca signing Rabiot would be a great move from Barca, especially when you consider the club lost Andres Iniesta this summer just gone.

The Frenchman has been a big part of PSG’s side these past few years, with the midfielder often playing a key role for the club in their numerous domestic trophy wins.

Rabiot’s ability on the ball and quality in the final third would see him fit in very well at the Nou Camp, but that could only happen if Barca manage to beat Juventus in the race to land the player’s signature.

It’s hard to see how Rabiot would start for Juve since the club already have stars like Miralem Pjanic, Emre Can and Sami Khedira on their books.

Only time will tell if Rabiot ends up leaving Paris this summer, and whether Barca or Juve end up successful in their attempts to sign the French international. Watch this space.
