Barcelona have overseen a reshuffle in midfield this summer, but reports claim that they could be eyeing some major changes in 2019.
The Catalan giants saw both Andres Iniesta and Paulinho leave the Nou Camp, which in turn led to moves for Arthur and Arturo Vidal to fill the gaps.

With the transfer deadline fast approaching in Spain on Friday, it seems unlikely that they’ll complete any further business in the next 48 hours or so, but they’ve been tipped to make some major deals next year.
According to Sport, two of Paul Pogba, Adrien Rabiot and Frenkie de Jong will join the La Liga champions next year, as although all three are said to be keen on a move to the Nou Camp, Barcelona have been unable to secure deals due to their respective clubs being unwilling to discuss an exit.
While Rabiot will become a free agent next summer as it stands given his current contract expires at the end of the season, that would seemingly be the easiest deal to make, provided that he doesn’t pen new terms with Paris Saint-Germain in the meantime.
As per Sport, De Jong wasn’t allowed to leave Ajax this time round, but there is a touted agreement which suggests that he will not discuss a move with another club before Barca make a decision on whether or not to swoop.
Meanwhile, as noted by The Guardian, Pogba raised serious doubts over his situation at Man Utd earlier this month by hinting that he isn’t entirely happy at Old Trafford which in turn unsurprisingly sparked exit talk. That suggestion is echoed by Sport too, but time will tell if the World Cup winner can be prised away from the Premier League outfit.
All three names in question are fundamental to their current clubs. With that in mind, making deals arguably won’t be easy. However, Sport seem confident that provided Barcelona play the waiting game, they could welcome some big additions to the squad next year.
