Patrik Schick – £25.8m
On loan at RB Leipzig from Roma, Patrik Schick has had a fine season and is now attracting interest ahead of this summer.
According to the print edition of Il Tempo, as cited by Calciomercato, Roma are willing to let Schick go for £25.8m this summer, but Leipzig aren’t prepared to pay that.
The report mentions Arsenal and Tottenham as suitors for the Czech Republic international as well, and they could do well to improve their attacks without spending a fortune here.
Nicolas Tagliafico – £22.4m
Ajax are well known for bringing through talented youngsters and selling them for a profit, sometimes a huge one.
But in Nicolas Tagliafico, they’re not even demanding big money as the left-back is linked with a move to Chelsea for as little as £22.4m by the Telegraph.
The Blues could do with a new left-back and would be doing fine business if they could offload Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri and then replace them for such a low fee.
Rafinha Alcantara – £14m
One of a number of Barcelona players who could be cleared out this summer, Mundo Deportivo claim Arsenal are interested in Rafinha Alcantara as he could be available for just £14m.
Rafinha might not be the world class talent he looked capable of becoming when he was a youngster, but for that price he could probably strengthen a problem area for the Gunners.
Joe Rodon – £20m
While Man Utd are also looking at bigger and likely more expensive players in defence, the Independent claim they could consider Swansea City ace Joe Rodon as an alternative.
The 22-year-old is a promising talent and it’s previously been suggested that it would only take around £20m to prise him away from his current club, according to the Sun.
Roman Burki – £15m
Finally, Chelsea may have smashed their transfer record for the signing of Kepa Arrizabalaga last summer (fee via BBC Sport), but they’re now looking at another goalkeeper for a far more reasonable price.
The Blues are eyeing Borussia Dortmund ‘keeper Roman Burki in a deal that would likely cost them just £15m, according to a recent report from the Sun.
The 29-year-old has shone in the Bundesliga and looks a fine potential replacement for expensive flop Kepa.
