The backlash to Millwall fans booing their own players for taking a knee before their match against Derby County is still resonating.
Talksport pundit and former Crystal Palace owner, Simon Jordan, has taken a different view to everyone else on the matter, however.
Noting that he comes from that part of the world, the south Londoner believes that it’s not clear why the supporters took the stance they did, and that there is confusion over the Black Lives Matter political movement and what taking the knee represents.
“I don’t know, you don’t know, that at the centre of this reaction is racism.”
“Black Lives Matter as a brand has an ambiguity about it that causes confusion.”
