Ole Gunnar Solskjaer provides injury update on Manchester United trio

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted he’s unsure if Paul Pogba, Luke Shaw and Victor Lindelof will be fit to play against Burnley on Tuesday night.

The trio were out of action for the Red Devils in their 1-0 FA Cup third round victory over Watford at the weekend, and Solskjaer has now provided an update on their injury status.

Speaking ahead of the Burnley game, as quoted by the Metro, the Norwegian tactician said he would have to see if Pogba, Shaw or Lindelof could make it back in time to take on the Clarets.

Man Utd fans will be pleased to hear, however, that Solskjaer sounds more optimistic that these players will be back available again for next weekend’s big Premier League clash with rivals Liverpool.

If anything, it might well be an opportunity for Solskjaer to rest some of his players after a busy schedule, with big names like Pogba perhaps better served for getting a break before taking on an opponent like Liverpool.
