Video: Horrible clash of heads between Martial and Diop – Both appear to be okay

There’s been a lot of talk in recent weeks about concussions in football and the use of subs to help player safety, but this appears to be another case of the players saying they are okay and getting on with it.

Thankfully both Anthony Martial and Issa Diop appear to be fine after this, but it’s hard to see how when you consider how fiercely the clash heads as they both go for the ball in the penalty area:
