Talks tomorrow: Chelsea to discuss player’s potential €28m transfer away

Chelsea and AC Milan will reportedly start negotiations over Fikayo Tomori from Monday as the Serie A giants look to sign the on-loan defender permanently.

Tomori left Chelsea for Milan in January and has shone for the Rossoneri, looking like he could be a quality signing for the long-term.

According to Italian newspaper Tuttosport, as translated by Sport Witness, Milan are now set to hold talks with Chelsea about a permanent deal for Tomori, who can complete his move to the San Siro for a fee of around €28million.

This was supposedly the price Chelsea put in his deal when they gave Milan the option of a permanent move with his loan in January, though the report states that Milan hope to negotiate that price down a little.

Some Chelsea fans will no doubt be hoping they can keep Tomori after all, with the young England international looking a much better player after his time at Milan on loan.

Tomori could now be ready to make an impact at Stamford Bridge, though the player himself might well be keen to move on after such a successful spell in Italy.
