Former Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren clearly enjoyed seeing old rivals Manchester City lose yesterday’s Champions League final.
Lovren left Liverpool last summer after a few years of a major rivalry with Pep Guardiola’s side, so it’s not too surprising that he took the opportunity to troll them a bit after they were defeated in the Champions League final last night.

Liverpool won the trophy a couple of years ago but City are still waiting to be champions of Europe for the first time in their history, and Lovren suggests there might be a way of fixing that.
See below as Lovren tweeted that City could perhaps try signing a Croatian player, as it seems to have brought all recent winners a lot of luck…

Mateo Kovacic is the latest Croatian to pick up a winners’ medal as he played his part in Chelsea’s success, while he’s also won the trophy three times with Real Madrid in the past.
Mario Mandzukic, Luka Modric, Ivan Rakitic and Ivan Perisic are also among the past winners, as well as Lovren himself of course.
