Though he’s no longer a spring chicken, Kieran Trippier can obviously see the funny side of turning 31 years of age.
The Atletico Madrid star has starred for club and country over the past 18 months and is believed to have been close to returning to the Premier League and a move to Manchester United in the summer window, per The Sun.
The report notes that the Red Devils will go back in for him in January by which time he’ll be approaching 31 and a half.
Judging by his sense of humour on his birthday, however, he’ll be just fine.
