Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher says Hugo Lloris could’ve done better for the Newcastle goal today at Tottenham Stadium.
Spurs enjoyed a nice afternoon as they closed the gap with Arsenal for top four finish with an emphatic come-back win against Newcastle.
Fabian Schar scored the first goal of the game from free-kick and Carragher wasn’t happy how the France international reacted.
“Really poor from the goalkeeper. Yes, there are Newcastle players in front of him, but even if he doesn’t see it until a little bit later, try it out.”
Luckily for Tottenham the goal didn’t cost them and Conte team managed to grab all three points as they make a late push in bid for Champions League place next season.
