Chelsea looking to sign Tottenham star in sensational swap deal

Chelsea are looking to sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane in a sensational swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku was sent out on loan to Inter Milan during the summer transfer window after a disappointing return to Chelsea. It seems unlikely that Lukaku will return to the club and play a key role in the side, so a permanent move away is probably for the best for all parties involved.

Now, according to Calcio Mercato Web, Chelsea are going to use Lukaku in a swap deal to sign Tottenham striker Kane.

The chances of Tottenham allowing Kane to leave the club seem slim, but he’s yet to sign a new deal and he may be becoming increasingly frustrated at the lack of trophies won with his boyhood club.

If Graham Potter can get a tune out of his Chelsea squad, they may become a really exciting project.

Using Lukaku as a sweetener in the deal could tempt Tottenham, particularly with Antonio Conte working with Lukaku before, during his time at Inter Milan.

The ideal situation for Spurs would be for Kane to stay, but if he forces a move then bringing in Lukaku could be a tempting part of the deal.

  1. Why would Kane go to Chelsea at a time when Tottenham are a better side. It’s nonsense and not worth reporting

    1. Becoz conte wont sign an extension so he wont b at spurs after this season!
In fact swappin managers as well as strokers is prob best u can achieve!

    2. Tottenham will never top Chelsea in the table. They’ve had some fortunate results but Chelsea are far superior, and I’m a Wolves fan.

  2. I can’t see Spurs selling anyone to Chelsea, you wouldn’t see one of their top players coming to Spurs, It just wouldn’t happen.

  3. Let’s look for another young alternative who will serve better. I think Broja is now fit to b e our main striker. It’s just a matter of time so let’s be patient.
We have all what we want but we seem not to confirm before we look for it else where.

  4. Let’s face it, Spurs were only 3 points behind Chelski last season and have topped them several times in recent years. Although I would say that Spurs have not played especially well this season (yet) they are a different mentality under Conte. Let’s see what happens at the end of this season.

  5. Nah, there is is absolutely no way that we want Lukaku near the Spurs squad. On top of that, I just cannot see Kane EVER going to a London rival, can you really?
