West Ham youngster Conor Coventry admits he was unsure if he wanted to leave West Ham to search for more game time or to stay at London Stadium.

The 22-year-old admits Moyes convinced him to stay put and fight for first-team minutes this season.

“In my head at the start I wasn’t too sure if I’d go again or stay and eventually I spoke to the manager and he told me he wanted me to stay and I would get me as many minutes as I can,” said Coventry, as quoted by RTE News.

“For me, as an academy graduate, a West Ham boy, ultimately I wanted to play for West Ham. That’s the decision I took.” – finished Coventry.
