Eddie Howe transferlist two Newcastle players for January

According to The Athletic, Ryan Fraser and Karl Darlow have both been given permission to quit the team this month.

Fraser actually wanted to leave at the beginning of preseason, as reported by David Ornstein and North-East writer Chris Waugh, but Newcastle’s inability to find a fresh winger caused him to stay on Tyneside.

It is now believed that the 28-year-old will be allowed to depart the team because Eddie Howe thinks he is one of the more “sellable assets”. This also explains why he hasn’t been included in recent matchday teams because it was decided not to risk him while he looks for a transfer.

Another player who could leave the club is keeper Karl Darlow who is looking to get minutes elsewhere after the return of Martin Dubravka at Newcastle.
