(Video)- “It’s a day to be proud” – Mikel Arteta reacts to Tottenham win

Arsenal extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to four points following victory in a thrilling north London derby.

The Gunners headed to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium knowing they needed to win, as they continue their fight for a first Premier League title in 20 years.

It looked like it was going to be an easy afternoon for Mikel Arteta’s men as they raced into a 3-0 half time lead, thanks to goals from Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz and an own goal from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

However, things got nervy in the second half as goals from Cristian Romero, and Heung-Min Son from the penalty spot set up a nervy finish.

You could see the Spaniard going through a full range of emotions on the sidelines, but his side held on for a huge win.

After the game Arteta admitted once the second goal went in all he could do was pray, but added it was a proud day for everyone at the club.
