Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly keeping tabs on the Feyenoord goalkeeper Justin Bijlow.

According to a report related by Soccer News, the two English clubs are interested in signing the 26-year-old goalkeeper at the end of the season.

Former Feyenoord manager Arne Slot has taken over at Liverpool and it will be interesting to see if he can help the Reds sign the goalkeeper this summer.

Liverpool need to bring in a quality backup goalkeeper, especially with Caoimhin Kelleher expected to leave the club at the end of the season.

Bijlow is expected to cost around €13 million and he should prove to be a quality acquisition for the two English clubs. The report states that Arsenal have scouted the goalkeeper in action quite a few times this season and it will be interesting to see if they come forward with an official proposal to sign him.

Meanwhile, the opportunity to join some of the biggest clubs in the world will be quite attractive for the player. However, he will not be a regular starter for them. It remains to be seen whether he is ready to accept the role of a squad player at Arsenal or Liverpool. The likes of David Raya and Alisson Becker will be the first-choice goalkeepers at the two clubs.

Bijlow would be a quality number two option for the two clubs and signing him for €13 million would represent a bargain as well.

Justin Bijlow to Arsenal or Liverpool?

Liverpool have advantage in Justin Bijlow chase?

Arsenal are likely to lose Aaron Ramsdale in the summer. The Englishman has fallen down the pecking order since the arrival of Raya and he is likely to join a club where he will get ample first team action.

It will be interesting to see where the 26-year-old Feyenoord goalkeeper ends up. It is fair to assume that Liverpool could be the favourites to sign the player and they might have an advantage in the transfer race because of Slot. The goalkeeper might fancy the idea of reuniting with the Dutch manager at the Premier League club.
