Tottenham suffered another embarrassing defeat at the weekend when they were beaten by Leicester City.
Ange Postecoglou’s side are currently 15th in the league and they suffered their 13th defeat in the Premier League this season.
Problems are mounting for the Tottenham manager and it appears like he has no answer to the problems being faced by the North London club.
They have been impressive in the attacking department this season, with only Liverpool and Manchester City scoring more goals than them in the league this season.
However, their defensive issues are causing problems for them with some of the players out injured.
Spurs have conceded 37 goals in the league this season in 23 matches and if Postecoglou, who was upset with the reaction of Tottenham fans after the Leicester defeat, does not find a way to solve that, there problems are not going to go away.
Football pundit Paul Robinson has pointed out the player who has been a cause of huge concern for the Premier League side.
In the summer transfer window, they signed Wilson Odobert but the 20-year-old winger’s season has been affected by injuries with the player making just five appearances in all competitions this season.
In conversation with Tottenham News, Robinson said:
“The squad is unbalanced, which I said at the start of the season. Looking at the players in the attacking areas – Kulusevski, Maddison, Bergvall, Johnson, Werner, Solanke, Odobert, that last one came out of the blue from Burnley.
“It’s so unbalanced. Dragusin was the only recognised centre-half before Ben Davies was granted fit again, but covering the full-back and centre-back areas has been the problem.”
Ange Postecoglou has failed to address the issues at Tottenham

A quiet January transfer window, in which only goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky has arrived at the club, could prove to be highly detrimental for Spurs and their remaining season.
They were expected to invest in new defenders this month because of the injuries to Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero, however, they have been unable to do that so far.
A place in Europe is looking highly unlikely for them at this stage and Postecoglou’s job is hanging in the balance if he fails to turnaround their season.
Spurs are reportedly considering making a change at the club with the North London side linked with a move for former Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag to replace Postecoglou.
I still can’t believe people are blaming Ange, what team could he put out? We’ve had so many injuries for a couple of months now and we’re going into the final week of the transfer window and still Levy hasn’t brought in players that can take the load off. Unless we get a free transfer, a loan or someone on the cheap, it won’t happen. Levy is saving his pocket money for his little hotel that will make him and ENIC even more profit when they eventually sell up. Changing manager will change nothing, there’s been 15 before Ange and the same thing happened to all of them. How many more managers do we have to go through before the fans that are backing Levy realise that, it is in fact Levy that’s the problem here, not the managers. Levy & ENIC OUT
It’s 100% Levy that’s the problem and always has been.how many good man have failed to receive the proper backing of the board! Think about it.
He’s a great businessman, but a useless football man.
The only possible solution is new ownership.
I totally agree that Levy is the root cause of the issues at Tottenham. He does not support the managers for the players they want. Remember poch going without any signing for almost 18 months. Look what Santos is doing at Forest and Conte at Napoli. Mourinho wanted Skiniar but he never approved. There are some key players that Spurs have missed because of Levy. Grileash should not have been missed at any point.
Agree with everything above. Spurs will only win thongs ehen they buy class players. They do have a load of class youngsters now but if the Championship beckons then will be gone. Spurs could be in League 2 in a few years . At least they will have a ground for that American crap and a concert venue. Oh and a load of money in the bank.
I agree that Levy has been the problem footballwise over the years and your statement that we have a load of class youngsters but why o why do we always get told ‘they’re not quite ready’. The likes of Bergvall and Gray are given match time but is that because we paid money for them? We are constantly being told we have all this wonderful up and coming talent which always seems to come to nothing. They are farmed out to teams way below Premier standard before disappearing off the planet. Top teams seem to give their youngsters a chance to flourish but we pick first team players regardless of whether they are fully fit or not rather than give our young players the opportunity to show what they can do with a bit of encouragement. Can they do any worse!
100 Percent Agree Ange Ain’t The Problem It’s Tight Fisted Levy, He’s worst than Alan Sugar, I Feel sorry For Ange judge Him When We Have a Full Squad, Conte Told Us All, They don’t want to invest in players
100% agree with you sir. Any team/manager will struggle 9, 10, or 11 players out injured at the same time. The ones that are healthy are getting run down with little options for rotation.
