Top scorer in the World Cup thus far and fresh from putting in a stellar performance in the win over Sweden, Werder Bremen and Germany star Miroslav Klose is making his way into plenty of transfer rumors across Europe.
The latest club to be linked is Arsenal, after Jens “KAAAAAAAHN!” Lehmann blathered on about how he reckoned the 15m rated striker would be perfect for the Gunners because of his ability in the to finish off chances in the box.
Manchester United are supposedly keeping an eye on him as a replacement for Ruud Van Nistlerooy, while we only assume Chelsea are also inquiring as they look to provide an aerial presence for the reserves team that Shaun Wright Philips can aim for.
Many World Cup stars have ended up achieving nothing of note, but Miroslav has already been an established player in a top league for a number of years and scored a hattrick in Korea & Japan 2002. A good performance in Germany is merely the icing on the cake for a fine career.
Would Klose be worth a spot at any of the top Premiership clubs? At 10m+?
