Playing In Europe Means Nothing

If that headline enrages you because you love European football, then read on. CaughtOffside is looking to bring in writers to cover the Premiership’s representatives in the Champions League and UEFA Cup this season.

There are three types of writing positions available (and more than one spot per type):

Cover a club that is NOT the one you support. This may seem strange, but we find the viewpoints of opposing supporters are often the most interesting. Are you a Tottenham supporter who wants to follow Arsenal’s campaign, mocking them at every opportunity? Will nothing give you more pleasure than writing about another failed attempt by Chelsea to get the best of Barcelona? Then apply now!
Cover a single club and their fortunes this season in Europe.
Cover the progress of all of the clubs, putting their progress in context of one another. This could be for either the Champions League or the UEFA Cup (or both), depending how much time you have.

While it may sound like a lot of work, we’re really looking for, at a minimum, one article previewing and reviewing each European matchweek.

Please contact editor@caughtoffside.com with your name, which position you are interested in, along with a brief writing sample relevant to your club or competition of choice (see below).
