The international flavour of the squad is equally common in the Premiership with Manchester United likely to see an equally diverse crowd on the weekend, but 11 unique nationalities is believed to be some sort of UEFA record. Given Ashley Cole’s outbursts about how the influx of foreign players has ruined Arsenal’s team spirit and dressing room, the feat comes at a less than ideal time.
