AHA! Try Taking Our Faddy Now! Roars Everton’s Ginger Braveheart!
Everton are looking to tie down Scottish legend James McFadden and get rid of the vultures sniffing around him, Moyes and his incandescent hair are set to offer McFadden a new contract; with is like a tonne of garlic to the transfer vampires like Celtic. Word on the street was that Celtic were plotting a £4m January transfer swoop but Moyes isn’t having any of it. Faddy’s agent Willie McKay said:
“James is under contract at Everton and he is only thinking of Everton. In fact I believe David Moyes is ready to offer him a new contract to keep him at Goodison.”
And Moyes’ erstwhile Assistant Alan Irvine drove the final nail in the transfer coffin:
“If your players are doing well, then other people will possibly look at them and hope to sign them, but we are not actually looking to sell any players.We have been patiently building the squad that we have got and we will continue see if we can strengthen it, and we are not looking to sell players.”
So Faddy isn’t going anywhere, at least that is what the official Everton line is. But after plugging one hole, another has popped up with Mikel Arteta randomly declaring his love for Atlético Madrid saying:
“It is a club that I have always liked and where I would like to play.In football, projects finish and start when one least expects it. As well as that, in my life, everything has always gone very quickly. If someone had told me at the start of my career that, at 25, I would already have played in three different countries, I would have said they were mad.”
