Tottenham’s Ramos Is On The Trail Of A £30million Spaniard

Inspired by the glow-in-the-dark faeces that is Tottenham’s defending, new manager Juande Ramos is set to try and bag himself another striker to go with Robbie Keane, Dimitar Berbatov, Darren Bent, and Jermaine Defoe….The man in question? Valencia’s David Villa. The Price? 30 million quid.
Reports suggest that Ramos is a tad worried about the fact that Dimitar Berbatov might do a runner, and decamp to Man Utd, so he is lining up the amazingly prolific David Villa as a £30million replacement. Villa’s agent Jose Luis Tamargo said:

“Many clubs have contacted me to ask about the chances of a player who is guaranteed to score goals in England. But I am convinced if Spurs present an offer Valencia will study the subject”

Not exactly the veritable ‘come and get me’ from Villa, but not far off. But before too many Tottenham fans get their knickers in a twist we have some sobering news, this story is being reported by the semi-fictional comic book The News Of The World.
