Previous Arsenal target Artur Boruc of Celtic, has come out to say he wants to leave his new home. Boruc was quoted in Polish reports that Boruc has declared that he wants an early departure. What about it you say? Well, Arsene Wenger has always been an admirer of this tough keeper, and with Jens Lehmann’s position at Arsenal seemingly non existent, can Artur Boruc take the place of Jens – sending Almunia back to number two?
“I have decided I am going to leave Celtic in the summer.
“Celtic want more than £10million for me but I think it is too much.
“There is much to look forward to with the Champions League in spring and then the European Championship in the summer, but many things can change and I have to see what is best for me.”
“The operation went very well and I should be back next month,” added Boruc.
“I cannot say for certain that I will be back for the game against Rangers but I will try really hard to be back in time because I enjoy playing in these games.”
Arsenal in for the money? Or is your club more in need of this young and promising goal keeper?
