Chilean winger’s representative dismisses reports of return to Italy.
The agent of Barcelona winger Alexis Sanchez has denied that his client is set for a move to Italy according to talkSPORT.
Sanchez has been strongly linked with a move away from the Nou Camp this summer after failing to make much of an impact on the Barcelona first team.
“I’m in Barcelona now and will stay here the whole week. I don’t plan to travel to Italy for now,” said his agent Fernando Felicevich, but given recent links to Arsenal and Liverpool, a Premier League transfer has not been ruled out.
The player has attracted the wrath of the Catalan club’s fans on a number of occasions after they became frustrated with Sanchez’s profligate misses.
There is a growing feeling inside the FC Barcelona that Sanchez may not have the quality required to make the grade.
That could well see Sanchez moved on this summer with the player likely to find himself with no shortage of potential suitors.
Sanchez is still highly rated in Italy where he is fondly remembered for his time with Udinese and the likes of Napoli, Juventus and Inter Milan have all been linked with a move for the player in recent weeks.
A number of Premier League sides are also thought to be ready to offer Sanchez an escape route from the Nou Camp with Arsenal and Liverpool thought to be monitoring his availability.
