JSW Sports CEO looks forward to new campaign

After bringing in India Captain Sunil Chetrti and a host of young players, Mustafa Ghouse is relying on the striker to lead by example.

Ghouse has a sporting background having been a professional tennis player before becoming CEO of JWS Sports owners of Bangluru FC

Ghouse told Sports Keeda :”Chhetri’s prowess doesn’t need any explaining. He’s the national team skipper and more importantly, a big player. For Bengaluru FC to land his signature tells a lot about the ambitions of the club.

We realize we have a young squad but the right blend of experience is necessary and we all know what a player of Chhetri’s calibre brings to a team.

With a scoring record of 37 goals in 66 games, his ability is unrivalled in his home country

As well as Chetri, former Blackburn and Portsmouth Assistant Ashley Westwood has been brought into coach the side, he has brought with him former Northampton Town Defender John Johnson and Reading youth player Curtis Osano.

Ghouse added: “Ashley is a young coach who has had a lengthy playing career. He brings in so much of experience and has our complete backing. As for John and Curtis, Ashley has played with and against them and he knew exactly what he was doing in bringing them here.”
