Jang Jo Won Could Face Punishment for Lethal Tackle

Further action a possibility 

After breaking the leg Tanjong Pagar United’s Sazali Salleh,  The S-league Chief Executive warned their could be additional consequences for Jang Jo Won’s rash challenge.

The Korean whose late lunge snapped the Fibia of the Jaguars midfielder, received a straight red for the tackle but could face retrospective punishment as well

The incident took place in the RHB Singapore Cup quarter-final, which saw the Jaguars edge through 5-4 on aggregate against Loyala Meralco Sparks.

Speaking to The New Paper Lim Chin said: ” We will take a look at the incident, and concurrently if or when Tanjong Pagar lodge an official complaint, we’ll take it from there.”

Salleh taken immediately to hospital after the incident and could be out for the rest of the season.
