If Tottenham do relent and accept a mammoth offer from Real Madrid for prized asset Gareth Bale it appears that Andre Villas-Boas will then look to invest most of that sum in the pursuit of some top notch additions.

The Daily Mirror lists six targets on the White Hart Lane shopping list, all of whom could be brought in using the reported £105m the North London side are looking to receive from Spanish giants Real Madrid for Bale, and still have money left over.

Tottenham could certainly do with further striking additions even after the club record capture of Spaniard Roberto Soldado and with that in mind this source claims that QPR striker Loic Remy is very high up on the club’s shopping list.

The Loftus Road side may well feel the need to remove the big earners from their wage bill as they prepare for life in the Championship and the £8m price-tag seems a very fair one given the form shown by the former Marseille man in the English top tier last term.

The 26 year old netted six goals in 14 appearances last term, this despite his side finishing rock bottom of the table. With Emmanuel Adebayor suffering a severe drop in form last term and Jermain Defoe managing just one goal in his last 15 Premier League fixtures there is definitely scope for improvement.
