That’s right – he’s a Danish international.
Danish international winger could be on his way to the UK after a number of clubs are reported to be interested in the Esbjerg player, Sky Sports reports.
The 22–year-old is adept either on the wing up in a more central role in attack and has began to make a name for himself in Denmark, and not just for his severely un-Scandinavian sounding surname.
Coming up through the youth ranks with Esbjerg, his hometown club, he has recently found himself in the Danish national side having already represented his country at every youth level imaginable.
His good form this season has been long noted by several British clubs, who could now look towards him as a possible summer signing. It has been reported that Scottish champions Celtic are monitoring his progress along with Premier League Hull City and Championship side Ipswich Town.
A source close to the player confirmed to Sky Sports: “Martin has been progressing very well over the past 12-months and he is now a full international.
“He knows of the interest in England and Scotland, and he is excited by that – but he is trying to stay focused and not get distracted.”
