Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew has confirmed that his side will look to bring in an array of British talents in the January transfer window according to the Daily Mail.

Pardew will look to work with director of football Joe Kinnear to push for such additions when the transfer window re-opens.

‘Joe has asked what I want, I’ve told him and it’s his job to get it out of Mike Ashley,’ said Pardew.

‘We need to look at British players because we’re starting to get filled up with perhaps too many foreigners.’

Indeed Newcastle United’s squad is full of international talents with a whopping nine French players among Pardew’s playing staff.

The St James’ Park side have started the current campaign in an up and down fashion and currently sit in 11th place in the Premier League table.
