(Video) Tottenham Winger Andros Townsend Sings Ben.E.King Classic ‘Stand By Me’, Career In Music Not an Option for England Man

Winger shows another side to his personality.

New Tottenham Hotspur and England star Andros Townsend has revealed that he is not just a hit at football, but that he could also have a signing career ahead of him as well.

The exciting wide man has really caught the eye so far this season with his outstanding displays on the wing for both club and country.

However, in a newly released video, the 22-year-old has now shown a different side to his personality, with Townsend producing a catchy rendition of Ben.E.King’s classic ‘Stand By Me’.

The England international is even accompanied in his dressing-room performance from a couple of years ago by Spurs team-mates Tom Carroll and Harry Kane, although the latter looks more than a little embarrassed by the whole incident!

But however good the Englishman is with a microphone in his hand, one suspects that his future lies away from the recording studios if his recent man-of-the-match performances on the field of play in the white of the north London club and the Three Lions is anything to go by.

In his nine matches for Andre Villas-Boas’s men in this campaign to date, Townsend has registered two goals and three assists in total in all competitions.
