Premier League leaders Arsenal have asked to be kept up to date with any developments concerning Juventus front man Mirko Vucinic’s proposed swap deal involving Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin, amid rumours that move may now have collapsed, according to reports in the London Evening Standard.

The north London club have been keeping close tabs on the highly rated Montenegro international ever since the January transfer window opened again for business again for the season at the beginning of the month.
Gunners head coach Arsene Wenger is known to currently be on the look out for a new striker to bring to the Emirates to help provide much-needed back-up for first-choice forward Olivier Giroud in the capital for the second half of the campaign.
However, the experienced French trainer is only interested in a loan move for Vucinic and will not splash the cash for the 30-year-old in January, and with the Old Lady of Italian Football said to be seeking a fee of £8m for the attacker, it had appeared as though any hopes of luring the Montenegrin to the Emirates had disappeared.
But now that Juve’s proposed swap deal involving Vucinic and Guarin has seemingly broken down, Wenger has been asked to be kept informed of any changes in the Serie A champions’ stance concerning their marksman.
