The Croatia international is currently plying his trade with Shakhtar Donetsk, where Eduardo has been since leaving Premier League giants Arsenal four years ago.
However, with the 30-year-old’s current deal in Ukraine set to run out at the end of the season, Shakhtar are understood to be offering the striker’s services now in an attempt to get a cut-price fee for Eduardo, rather than risk losing the player on a Bosman-style free transfer this summer.
And with the west London club currently in urgent need of a new forward, Eduardo maybe about to make a return to English football.
