Moyes has been tracking Colombian all season long.
Premier League champions Manchester United face a tough fight to land in-demand Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin at the end of the season after it emerged that the Serie A giants were planning on offering their star man a new deal to remain at San Siro, according to reports on talkSPORT.co.uk.

The Red Devils have been chasing the Colombia international for some time now, with new head coach David Moyes having even come desperately close to luring the experienced player to Old Trafford during the recent January transfer window.
In fact, United were even prepared to offer Inter red-hot front man Javier Hernandez in part exchange for Guarin last month, only for the deal to collapse at the very last minute, although it is understood that the 27-year-old himself is still desperate to make the switch to the Theatre of Dreams this summer.
However, Inter are also keen to keep hold of the South American at San Siro next season and in order to do so, the club are now believed to be preparing a new three-year contract for Guarin on significantly improved terms to those on which the goalscoring midfielder is currently on in Italy.
